The Woodlands’ Patrick Carr had his recruiting go down to the final moments before the official signing day on Wednesday.

Being known as a four-star high school prospect in the state of Texas carries some serious weight, especially when the time comes to make a selection on a school to help with their talent.

That decision wasn’t an easy one for The Woodlands High School’s all-time rushing leader Patrick Carr, who was given numerous offers for schools throughout the country, from as far west as Oregon State, to the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.

But when the 11th hour finally struck, the reigning District 16-6A Player of the Year decided to bring his unique skill set to the University of Colorado at Boulder, picking the Buffaloes over fellow finalists TCU and Arkansas.

Carr signed his official letter of intent the morning of national signing day on Wednesday, and made it public later that day in front of a crowded gymnasium at The Woodlands High School. click here for complete story
