College Park is young.

Despite graduating five seniors off of a playoff team last year and returning four starters, the Lady Cavaliers softball team is keeping expectations high as a new season quickly approaches.

“We want to make the playoffs,” College Park coach Danna Rice said. “In all my years of coaching, we’ve always had one goal in mind. That’s making the playoffs. That’s no different with this team.”

The Lady Cavs went into last season’s playoffs as the fourth seed in then-District 14-5A. They lost to top-ranked Atascocita in the bi-district round. Click here for complete story
