Entering the night it was the top-seeded No. 23 Atascocita Lady Eagles out of District 16-6A slated against Klein Forest – the fourth place team out of District 15-6A.
The Lady Golden Eagles did not allow facing a team like Atascocita to affect them, they just played their game and hung in there with the Lady Eagles going point-for-point, forcing overtime.
In the end Klein Forest, led by Tiara Marbley with 11 points, while Twynae Fletcher chipped in a team-high 13 points en route to the 52-45 upset of No. 23 Atascocita, ending the Lady Eagles season. click here for complete story
