Conroe experienced some growing pains under first-year baseball coach Jeff Raymer last season, finishing 7-20 overall and 1-11 in District 14-5A.
The move to District 16-6A makes the Tigers’ task all the more daunting, with the addition of Atascocita to the likes of The Woodlands, College Park and Oak Ridge.
Conroe will open the season at Farrell Park at Elmore Field on Tuesday, when the Tigers play host to Baytown Sterling at 6 p.m. Junior right-hander John Waling is expected to be Conroe’s starting pitcher. click here for complete story
