College Park’s district may have changed, but its roster of baseball players looks unsurprisingly familiar.

That’s because 12 of the Cavaliers’ 16 varsity players are in their final year at school, and much is expected from a team which finished 21-11 last season.

“The senior leadership has been outstanding this past fall,” said College Park coach Jason Washburn. “I’m looking forward to seeing them on the field against another team, and not just inter-squad scrimmages.”

Leading the charge for the Cavaliers this season will be pitcher Beau Ridgeway, who will look to improve from his 5-4 record a season ago, something Washburn describes as “hard luck” for the senior. click here for complete story
