News: Arrests made in connection with Montgomery ISD drug issue

Three students were arrested Tuesday in connection with the use of synthetic LSD at Montgomery ISD schools.

The Courier confirmed that police were at a home near the Walden area and arrests were made around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. An offense report filed late Tuesday accuses two 17-year-old girls, both students at Montgomery High School, of conspiring to get rid of narcotics and drug paraphernalia stored at one teen’s home.

A 16-year-old male admitted to Montgomery ISD administrators that he had narcotics at his residence, according to the report

Grant Hobson, 16, died Feb. 7 of an apparent fatal reaction to synthetic LSD. Two other students were rushed to an area hospital Friday in what is believed to be more negative reactions to the synthetic drug. click here for complete story
