The College Park Cavaliers beat The Flower Mound Marcus Marauders on Thursday 10-3 in 7 innings at the Georgetown Classic Tournament.

The Cavaliers scored 5 runs in the 6th on an RBI single by Tyler Mortenson, and a two-run triple by Noah Vaughan. The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game. Vaughan racked up three RBIs on one hit for College Park.
Parker Hudson got the win in relief for College Park. Hudson pitched one inning and allowed no runs. Albright was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked none and struck out one.
The bottom of the second saw Flower Mound Marcus take an early lead, 2-0. Flower Mound Marcus’ rally started when Glowrence doubled. College Park added two more runs in the top of the seventh. Mortenson’s double got things going, scoring Aric Wilson.
