The No.3 Eagles, after going 1-1 on Opening Day; falling to Cy Creek 5-3, then beating Spring 6-1, Atascocita came back on day two looking to continue to improve.
In their first game, the Eagles (2-2) dropped Spring, 1-0, before going out and falling to No. 5 Flower Mound, 5-0, in the night cap.
“We’ve been a little bit up and down,” Atascocita head coach Eric Matthews said about his team’s start to the season. “Trying to figure out those new lineups, moving guys around and trying to figure out what works best in this puzzle.”
