Baseball: Oak Ridge looks for big things from big players

54f3b5d53ffa2.imageMuch of the Oak Ridge baseball team’s success this season will be predicated on the performance of their senior leaders.

Good thing for them they’ve got plenty to work with.

The War Eagles won their first four games of the season in the War Eagle Classic, sweeping Huffman (7-4) and St. Thomas (5-1) on Saturday.

A big name cast of players will help lead Oak Ridge into the 2015 season against some old rivals, and some new.

The UIL’s shakeup has left Oak Ridge as part of District 16-6A, which could be argued for one of the best baseball districts, if not the best, in Texas. click here for complete story
