No. 3 Atascocita continued its impressive season on Friday, beating Austin Anderson 53-43 in the Area Round, advancing to the Regional Quarterfinals.

“Our defense won us that game,” Atascocita head coach David Martinez said. “We were incredible tonight defensively. We hit big shots and hit timely free throws when we needed them. Overall we struggled offensively, but our defense came through in a big way. Great team effort.”
