Boys Soccer: District 16-6A race hits stretch run

54f68cde61d39.imageWith all the wet weather and breaks in play due to spring break, the District 16-6A boys soccer race heats up again tonight. Oak Ridge, which holds a 7-3-1 record in 16-6A play, has a bye tonight and leads the league with 22 points.

That leaves The Woodlands (6-1-3, 21 points) and Conroe (6-2-2, 20 points) right on the War Eagles’ tail, with the Highlanders playing host to Summer Creek (0-9-1) tonight and Conroe traveling to play Atascocita (2-8-1). College Park (5-3-2, 17 points) plays host to Kingwood (3-3-4, 13 points) tonight in a match that could clinch a playoff berth for the Cavaliers, and thus leave the four Conroe ISD teams headed to the postseason. click here for complete story
