D.J. Hogg’s basket at the final buzzer gave nationally ranked Plano West a 56-54 victory over Houston Clear Lake and the UIL Class 6A boys state basketball title late Saturday at the Alamodome.

Hogg, the game’s most valuable player, scored 16 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, including converting a Clear Lake turnover with 11.9 seconds left into a running one-hander from the top of the key for the win. click here for complete story
