Almost a week after its originally scheduled date, the matchup of District 16-6A rivals College Park and Oak Ridge ended in another downpour.

Only this time, it wasn’t the rain that washed the game away, it was the Oak Ridge bats. The Lady War Eagles surged through the end of the game, scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take control and win against the Lady Cavaliers, 10-2. The Lady War Eagles improved to 16-5 overall and 2-2 in District 16-6A. click here for complete story
