Conroe and College Park played their final District 16-6A soccer match in monsoon-like conditions on Friday night at Buddy Moorhead Memorial Stadium.
The Tigers struck quickly and played a strong overall game in the driving rainstorm, defeating College Park 2-0 to finish second in the district race with an 8-2-2 league record.
Conroe finished with 23 points, one less than The Woodlands, which defeated Kingwood 3-0 on Friday night. College Park (10-6-3, 6-4-2 in 16-6A) claimed the district’s final postseason berth and will travel to play Klein High School on Thursday. click here for complete story
