With two outs in seventh inning and the bases loaded, Ridgeway was gunning for a complete game and Cavalier coach Jason Washburn wasn’t going to stop him.

“If I went out there, I was going to have to wrestle the ball away from him,” Washburn said. “He was going to finish the game.”

College Park (13-1, 2-0) used a clutch home run from shortstop Nate Fisbeck and the steady pitching of Ridgeway to get the win.

Ridgeway got Zach Gartner to strikeout leave the bases stranded in the seventh inning and clinch a 4-2 District 16-6A win over rival The Woodlands in the process. click here for complete story
