College Park starting pitcher Beau Ridgeway struck out 10 batters against The Woodlands on Tuesday night in the Cavaliers 4-2 district win.

The College Park Cavaliers got a stellar pitching performance from Beau Ridgeway and three RBI’s from Nate Fisbeck en route to a 4-2 home district win over The Woodlands Highlanders on Tuesday night.

“You start on the mound, Beau Ridgeway was really good, I’m proud of our offensive approach as Nate (Fisbeck) has been hot, but other guys are stepping up. This is a good win over The Woodlands, but it’s a district win and this group understands that every win, every run is important,” said Cavaliers Head Coach Jason Washburn.

College Park (13-1, 2-0) fell behind 2-0 to the Highlanders in the top of the second inning when Nick White and Casey Stokes scored off a Cavaliers error, giving the Highlanders an early lead. click here for complete story
