Conroe coach Jeff Raymer spent about 15 minutes with his team after Tuesday night’s 5-2 loss to Summer Creek.
The Tigers fell to 3-10 overall and 0-3 in District 16-6A, while Summer Creek improved to 8-9 and 2-0 respectively. Conroe couldn’t hold a 2-0 lead, as Summer Creek struck for three runs in the top of the fifth inning and two more in the sixth.
“We have to learn how to win,” Raymer said.
Conroe right-hander John Waling gave up a leadoff double to Summer Creek’s Blake Spindle in the fifth. The Bulldogs’ Chase Seabranch was hit by a pitch to load the bases with one out, but Waling struck out leadoff man Payton Harden on a 2-2 fastball. click here for complete story
