The season hasn’t always gone as smoothly as planned, but The Woodlands is back in the playoffs, and eying another deep run.
The Highlanders open the Class 6A girls soccer players Friday against Montgomery.
“I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished this year,” coach Dina Graves said. “The girls have done a great job.
“And with the scheduling, and the way things worked out this year, we had to deal with some different issues, in terms of our spring break not matching up with the other teams in the district. It made our March much different than what we’re accustomed to, in terms of how many games we played.”
The Woodlands enters the postseason at 15-2-4. It went 11-1 in district, tying Kingwood for the 16-6A title. click here for complete story
