A furious rally in the bottom of the seventh inning saw the Oak Ridge War Eagles score four runs to walk-off with a 5-4 district home win over the College Park Cavaliers on Friday night.

“We just hung around long enough to get a few breaks and we had some kids that came through and that’s what it’s all about,” said War Eagles Head Coach Mike Pirtle.

Oak Ridge (11-1, 4-0) finally saw its offense erupt in the bottom of the seventh when Matt Mihalov led off the inning with a single, followed by Luken Baker reaching on a Cavalier infield error.
