Emily Langkamp took her turn in the circle and The Woodlands rolled to a 14-0 victory over Conroe on Saturday night.

After Friday night’s 7-2 victory over Kingwood, when Abby Langkamp pitched 5 1/3 innings before her sister completed the game, the Lady Highlanders picked up some momentum at Conroe’s expense.

Emily Langkamp had a no-hitter intact until Conroe’s Maycie Walton drilled a leadoff double to right-center field in the fourth. Langkamp then struck out the side, which also happened in the first and second innings.

Langkamp finished the game with 11 strikeouts in four innings, including six called third strikes. The Woodlands improved to 14-6 overall and 5-2 in District 16-6A. click here for complete story
