Jordan Byrd is in his first year on the job, but he knows the expectations – and how difficult it will be to meet them.
The new Summer Creek coach had his team at 2-1 in District 16-6A this week, but The Woodlands is up next, and then Summer Creek closes the first round of district with Oak Ridge next Tuesday.
“I knew three out of the last five years they made it in, in 4A, and I knew going to 6A, especially in the district we were going to be in, the goal was just to find a way to get back in the playoffs,” Byrd said.
Byrd was an assistant at Frisco Liberty for five years before landing at Summer Creek. click here for complete story
