Riley McKnight’s two-out two-RBI triple to center field propelled Oak Ridge into a six-run inning en route to a 8-2 home district win over Kingwood on Friday night.

Oak Ridge (14-1, 7-0) scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth, all with two-outs led by McKnight’s triple scoring Jose Sanchez and Luken Baker, who was intentionally walked to bring up McKnight. The War Eagles continued the inning when Addison Moss and Anthony Smith hit back-to-back doubles to the outfield that scored McKnight, Michael Lawson and Moss to give Oak Ridge a 7-2 lead. Smith would get the final tally to 8-2, when his RBI-single to right field scored Demarco Thomas. click here for complete story
