Junior Ben Perry and The Woodlands high school lacrosse team downed stubborn South District nemesis, Memorial (8-3, 5-3) 13-5 in a home tilt on Friday night increasing their district lead with three games to go in the regular season.
Perry, an attackman went off for four goals as fellow attackman, sophomore Nick Rauchle tallied two goals to go along with two assists. Netminder AJ Thorpe was a virtual wall between the pipes in shutting down the Mustangs late on several point blank shots to secure the win for The Woodlands (10-2, 8-0).
