Behind the big bat of Carter Spexarth, and a complete game from starting pitcher Jessica Rodriguez, Oak Ridge completed a season sweep of rival The Woodlands at home on Wednesday, 4-3.

Following a tough outing Monday at College Park in which Spexarth took the loss as the starting pitcher for the Lady War Eagles, the sophomore came back to hit 2-2 against the Lady Highlanders including a decisive three-run homer.

After The Woodlands had tied the game up in the top of the third with a sacrifice fly from Aubrey Leach to score Kerry Martinez, Oak Ridge took back control in the bottom half of the inning. click here for complete story
