Durbin Feltman was a pitch away from a no-hitter in a rain-shortened District 16-6A game on Tuesday.

Heading into the top of the fifth inning, the War Eagles’ hurler was perfect until his first pitch of the frame was sent over the leftfield wall by Atascocita’s Alerick Soularie for his only blemish of the contest.

Despite his lone mistake, Feltman and the War Eagles would go on to win 2-1 as the game was called a pitch into the bottom of the fifth due to lightning in the area. click here for complete story
