The ORHS Cosmetology SkillsUSA Competition District 7 Qualifying students traveled to Corpus Christi to defend their titles and compete on the state level.

The Cosmetology Knowledge Bowl Team (Seniors Susanna Thomas, Fionna Markey, Kristi Shaw, Criss White and Aspen Howard) won first place in the Knowledge Quiz Bowl and was named state champion. Senior Brittany Duncan placed third for Technical Haircutting and was awarded the bronze medal.
