The Woodlands boys got off to an exceptional start in Day One of the area track and field meet pitting Districts 15-6A and 16-6A at Turner Stadium in Humble.

The Woodlands’ Matthew McClellan won the 3,200-meter run in nine minutes, 26.74 seconds, and teammate Eric Kroon was second with a time of 9:34.57. College Park’s Connor Meaux, the District 16-6A champion, finished fourth (9:51.53). Kingwood’s Charles Mills was third. click here for complete story
