Law enforcement responded to an accident involving a Conroe Independent School District school bus and one vehicle on Interstate 45 South near the Research Forest exit around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. The bus was en route to McCullough Junior High.

“No students were transported. Ambulances were brought in as a precaution,” Wood said. “The cause and fault of the wreck are still under investigation.”

Shenandoah PD Assistant Chief Bryan Carlisle said the accident was a minor “fender bender” between the bus and another small vehicle. The district sent a second bus to pick up the 40 students while the Conroe ISD Police Department investigated the scene. click here for complete story
