Conner Meaux won the 3,200-meter run at the Region II-6A Track and Field Championships at Baylor University on Friday. Meaux turned in a time of 9:10.63 to take the gold in the event, which was part of a host of field events held on Friday morning with prelims being held later in the afternoon.
The UIL State Track and Field Championships will be held May 14-16 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. The top two finishers in each event from each of the UIL’s four regions advance to the state meet. click here for complete story
