Pedro Nasta, a senior at The John Cooper School, is a double conference champion, holding medals in both the 1600m and 3200m races at the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) championships held on April 30 and May 1.

Nasta ran the 1600m in 4:22.73 and 9:28.42 in the 3200m to become champion in both events.

This is just one in a series of wins on the track this season for Nasta. In the 1600m, Nasta is the Texas Relays Champion and he has also taken first at the Oak Ridge Invitational and Maverick Relays. He was champion of the 3200m at The Woodlands Invitational and placed second in the same race in the Jesuit Sheaner Relays. click here for complete story
