Noah Vaughan made it happen for College Park with the bat and in the field, leading the Cavaliers to a dramatic 3-2 victory over Spring in Game One of their Class 6A bi-district series on Thursday night at College Park.
Vaughan, the Cavaliers’ left fielder, delivered a two-out single to right field that led to the tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
In the top of the eighth, Vaughan threw out a Spring base runner at the plate, and in the bottom of the ninth, Vaughan’s RBI single to left field brought Aaron Perkins home with the winning run. click here for complete story
