Aubrey Leach and Emily Langkamp each had three hits, leading The Woodlands to a 5-3 victory over Cedar Ridge in a one-game Class 6A softball playoff on Friday night at Mumford High School.
The Woodlands (21-7) will now face District 16-6A rival Kingwood in regional quarterfinal play. The site and format for that matchup has yet to be determined.
