Softball Playoff: The Woodlands advances with 7-2 win over Kingwood

A couple of defensive miscues by Kingwood helped The Woodlands score more than half of its runs Thursday night.

And with that, the Lady Highlanders advanced to the Region II-6A semifinals with a 7-2 victory over their District 16-6A rival at The Scrap Yard. Abby Langkamp and Kerry Martinez each made trips around the bases on critical Kingwood errors to score for the Lady Highlanders after three scoreless innings click here for complete story
