Strong pitching was on display early Wednesday evening as College Park and Lake Travis opened its Region II-6A, best-of-three baseball series at Mumford High School.

It remained that way for Lake Travis, but it didn’t last long enough for College Park.Lake Travis broke through after four scoreless innings and went on to defeat the Cavaliers 5-0.
