Softball Playoffs: Lady Tigers, Blackburn ready for The Woodlands

Belton advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history. They faced perennial powerhouse The Woodlands.

“We got beat in that series,” Blackburn recalled. “They advanced, we didn’t.

“I learned a lot from facing The Woodlands that year. Naturally, as a competitor, it’s still something I remember. Now, as a coach, there’s only one thing that will make the pain from that go away.”
