The Oak Ridge War Eagles continue their roll through the Class 6A baseball playoffs.

Oak Ridge right-hander Luken Baker fired a one-hitter Friday night and the War Eagles claimed a 2-0 victory over Austin Bowie to claim a two-game sweep of the Bulldogs in a best-of-three Region II-6A series at Mumford High School.

“We played really good defense behind Luken tonight,” Oak Ridge coach Mike Pertile said.

Oak Ridge improved to 27-1 on the season and will next face Rockwall or Irving Nimitz in the playoffs. click here for complete story
