There was a bit more drama in the game than coach Richard Jorgensen and The Woodlands would have wanted, but the Lady Highlanders will take the result.

Belton staged a late-inning rally, but The Woodlands held on to claim a 3-2 victory in the best-of-three Region II-6A softball series.
