College Park’s Parker Hudson reacts after walking in his second run of the seventh inning during a regional quarterfinal game in Mumford Saturday. Lake Travis defeated College Park 6-3.

With two innings remaining and a 3-1 lead, College Park needed just six more outs to complete its series comeback over Austin Lake Travis in the Region-II 6A quarterfinals.

The Cavaliers defense, however, didn’t respond well, as Lake Travis scored five runs combined in the sixth and seventh inning to steal the series away from College Park on Saturday, 6-3.

Back-to-back errors by the Cavaliers allowed two Lake Travis base runners to get on before College Park starter Chandler Morris was replaced by reliever Nate Fisbeck. The senior had just as difficult a time as his starting companion in the inning, allowing a runner to advance on a passed ball, and watching as another error allowed Lake Travis’ Hudson Fife to get home. click here for complete game
