Following a two-game sweep of Belton in the Region II-6A Semifinal round last weekend, The Woodlands is preparing for another trip to Mumford for a match up with Lake Travis.

The Lady Highlanders are coming off a close, pressure-filled series with the Lady Tigers of Belton, a series that saw both teams combine for a total of eight runs.

Game 1 against Lake Travis is scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m. at Mumford High School’s softball field. Games 2 and 3, if necessary, will begin on Saturday at 5 p.m. as well. click here for complete story
