Oak Ridge High School’s valedictorian and salutatorian will attend the University of Texas at Austin.

Valedictorian Jonathon McClanahan plans to study business honors and finance and for a career in investment banking. He had considered Rice, Northwestern and NYU as well as UT. The business honors program at UT’s McCombs Business School won him over. He’s participated in debate and speech as captain and was president of the National English Honor Society and vice-president of the National Honor Society and played basketball as a freshman. click here for complete story
