Suspect named in Woodlands Costco bomb threat case

Since mid-March the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has been contacted on three separate occasions with claims regarding a bomb on the premises of large shopping establishments in The Woodlands. Each call prompted an evacuation; however, no bombs were ever located.

The Target on Lake Woodlands Drive, the Wal-Mart at Woodlands Parkway and FM 2978 and the Costco on Texas 242 have all received phone calls from someone claiming a bomb would detonate and the locations should be evacuated.

The most recent call was made on May 22 to the Costco Wholesale Center in The Woodlands. According to Montgomery County authorities, “the caller told the associate to ‘listen carefully; someone in the store has a bomb.’” click here for complete story
