For Adrian Piperi, pretty much everything went according to plan for The Woodlands shot put and discus star at the UIL state track and field meet last month in Austin.

Piperi, the Highlanders’ powerful sophomore, took control during the preliminaries of the shot put competition and left the field in his wake.

Piperi unleashed the 12-pound ball with poise and precision, winning with relative ease at the University of Texas’ Mike Myers Stadium. click here for complete story
