With state tournament approaching, 7-on-7 squad hopes to earn summer hardware

The Woodlands is gearing up for the final push in 7-on-7.

The team plays in its final state qualifying tournament Friday at Cinco Ranch and the Division I state tourney is set for July 10-11 in College Station. The Highlanders clinched their 16th trip to state at their own tournament for the fourth consecutive year, beating Cy-Fair 42-20 in the final June 5 after knocking off Cinco Ranch in the semifinals. click here for complete story
