Teachers became students for a week’s worth of sessions promoting strategies that foster more interest in math and science in the classroom.
From Sunday through Friday, the Teachers Academy, sponsored by ExxonMobil and professional golfer Phil Mickelson was housed at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Third- through fifth-grade teachers from various Houston-area school districts enjoyed an all-expenses paid, week-long stay at the hotel during these training sessions.
