Mobile Police are investigating a gruesome accident that left a woman in critical condition.

The six vehicle crash involving an 18 wheeler happened around 1:30 Thursday afternoon in the east bound lanes of I-10 between Virginia and Broad streets.

It’s easy to see why some people say it’s a miracle no one died in the crash.
With so much mangled metal, at first glance, it’s hard to make out what happened.

An 18 wheeler crushed two vehicles…pushing a silver hummer on it’s side up against a concrete barrier. In between the hummer and big rig was a red vehicle crushed so severely, it was impossible to identify it as as truck or car.
“I mean it was crushed, it was almost pancaked and she was in a just you know barely enough room in there”, said Mobile Fire Rescue Spokesman Steve Huffman. click here for complete story
