Kempner senior Tanner Schuetz increased his power numbers this season, hitting nine home runs and nine doubles to go with a .446 batting average and 35 RBIs.
Standout second baseman Tanner Schuetz turned in another big season, helping Kempner return to the playoffs and win an area championship. The first-team all-district pick will play at San Jacinto College next spring.
