An 18-wheeler fire at Interstate 45 just north of Texas 242 required a response from Needham and Conroe fire departments Tuesday evening.

Witnesses reported to fire officials there were two explosions, first from the truck’s diesel tank and then from inside the truck’s cab. Firefighters from Needham and Conroe received a call about 7:25 p.m. and arrived to an 18-wheeler cab that was heavily involved with multiple explosions. click here for complete story
