The Woodlands High School’s run in the 2015 adidas Texas 7-on-7 State Tournament was cut short on Saturday afternoon.

It ended on a last-second bomb by Manvel, the Mavericks stunned the Highlanders 39-38 at the Veteran’s Park and Athletic Complex.

Manvel got off to a slow start and was playing catch up for most of the contest. With 10 minutes left in the game, The Mavericks reversed roles with long touchdowns on consecutive possessions and really put the Highlanders defense on its heels. click here for complete story
