There’s nothing more refreshing than cold ice cream on one of the hottest days of the year. Sunday, July 19, is National Ice Cream Day, celebrated annually on the third Sunday in July. It is by Presidential proclamation that the country celebrates the day. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed July as National Ice Cream Month, and also established the third Sunday in the month as National Ice Cream Day.
