On Thursday, 07/23/15, at approximately 7:20 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a reported drowning at 11 Villeroy Way, in the community of Carlton Woods.  Upon arrival, emergency medical personal were attempting life saving measures to a female that had been removed from the pool at the residence. The victim was identified to be Sarlaben Patel, 80 years old. Mrs. Patel was found face down in the pool, unconscious and not breathing by family members who also live at the residence.

She was declared deceased by emergency medical personal at 7:58 AM. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives and Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Connelly responded to the scene and began an investigation. No foul play is suspected at this time.

UPDATE: The 80-year old woman found in a swimming pool in The Woodlands, is being reported as a drowning victim.
